Set in Queens, NY at the beginning of the 1980 school year, James Gray’s ARMAGEDDON TIME is a deeply personal coming of age story about a pair of misfits whose lives converge against the backdrop of the rising tide of Reaganism in America. Paul Graff (Banks Repeta) is the youngest member of a working class Jewish family who is befriended by Johnny Crocker (Jaylin Webb), a black student with big dreams of working for NASA. But when the pair get into serious trouble, the ideals of the American dream come face to face with the realities of the American experience.
